Our favorite thing about wedding photography is you and your story.

That's why a girl who never dreamed of becoming a wedding photographer fell in love with it. As a hopeless romantic myself, I discovered that wedding photography is so much more than just capturing an event - it's about capturing the incredible moments of two families meeting, it's about that moment when your dress goes on for the first time and you realize you've become a bride, it's that quick glance to your husband to-be as you walk down the aisle - it's about preserving every moment and every detail of your wedding day - it's about preserving how it all felt in the most beautiful way possible. ​​​​

I thought I was going to be a nurse and that photographing weddings would help pay my way through school. But little did I know, as I blended my love for art and design into my wedding photography not only were couples drawn to my unique way of approaching weddings, but I fell in love with the ability to help couples hold on to that just-married feeling forever. 

That's why I describe my work as photojournalism meeting fine art. It's telling the story, and recording every important moment but doing it through the eye and heart of an artist. It's knowing how to not only capture a moment, but to capture how it felt. 

One of the main ways of accomplishing that is for you to be at ease. You'll not only be comfortable in front of the camera, but you'll know your photographer has the skill, experience, and empathy to make sure your wedding day and photographs turn out exactly how you dreamed they would.
